The Report 2011 on INSPIRE and GMES of Runder Tisch GIS is available on-line for free download. This report, at its seventh edition, is an important resource to keep updated information on these two main European Programmes, that are going to be more and more linked together and will certainly have a role for the geospatial market in the next years, both at National and International levels.

This issue starts from the European panorama and continues on National experiences of European Member States. Planetek contribution to the magazine was to illustrate the state-of-the-art of Spatial Data Infrastructures, presenting the new European INSPIRE  Geoportal and the new Geoportal of Emilia Romagna Region (Italy).
